Hamamatsu, Shizuoka – Happy Quality Inc. (Head Office: Hamamatsu, Shizuoka; CEO: Makoto Miyaji; hereafter “Happy Quality”) will launch the entry version of its agriculture-focused VR safety training content, “Happy Safety”, on 26 August 2025.
This service leverages VR headsets to recreate potentially hazardous situations that may occur in agricultural workplaces, with the goal of providing more practical and immersive safety training.
To commemorate the release, Happy Quality will offer the “Brush Cutter Operation” training module free of charge for a limited time.
Background of Development
Agriculture is among the industries with the highest rates of occupational accidents, with numerous incidents reported annually. In particular, concerns have been raised that conventional classroom training and manuals are not sufficient to fully convey the essence of workplace hazards to young, inexperienced farmers and technical interns.
In recent years, VR-based hazard simulations have attracted growing demand in the field of safety education. VR enables trainees to safely experience dangerous scenarios that are difficult to replicate in real life, helping to enhance their risk awareness and safety management skills.
At the same time, the responsibility of preparing materials, conducting sessions, and ensuring consistent training quality places a heavy burden on instructors and managers. Furthermore, the cost and effort required to update or replace training materials can be significant.
Against this backdrop, the agricultural sector is increasingly in need of new educational tools that combine reproducibility, immersion, and efficiency.

Future Outlook
Moving forward, Happy Quality will continue to expand its library of content covering agricultural tasks and hazard scenarios, while also updating features that support corporate training programs.
Beyond simply providing “experiences,” we aim to establish a model of continuous safety education, including hazard prediction and work simulations in virtual environments, as well as data-driven evaluation of training effectiveness. Through these efforts, we seek to raise safety awareness in agriculture and reduce the number of occupational accidents.
